November 25, 2025 - "Orange day"
Orange Day is an international day of action held every year on 25 November under the auspices of UN Women, aimed at raising awareness and taking action to end violence against women and girls. The colour orange symbolizes hope for a future free from violence.
On this occasion, the LUX equality unit joined other equality representatives from the Observatory to host a stand at the entrance of the cafeteria, in order to engage with members of the Observatory and provide information on ways to take action to combat violence against women.
June 23, 2025 - Inclusive writing
As part of our mission, the equality unit aims to organize “Equality Coffee Meetings,” a friendly opportunity to discuss various topics related to gender equality, sexual and gender-based violence, and more.
For our first edition, we chose a highly debated topic : inclusive writing.
