SparClust

SparClust is a project devoted to the study of the mass profile of galaxy clusters in the Universe. The goal is to perform measurements of the level of sparsity of the cluster mass distributed within concentric radial shells across different cluster regions using data from optical, X-ray and microwave observations.

These measurements can provide unique information on the astrophysical processes taking place within galaxy clusters and probe the matter content of the Universe and the cosmic expansion.
